ALVSCE Research Poster Showcase
The goal of this event is to showcase all programs and projects at ALVSCE including work done in Academic Units and Cooperative Extension.
All ALVSCE personnel and their colleagues are welcome to attend.

Time: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
Showcase Program:
10:00 am - "Welcome to the Showcase" by Dr. Zelieann R. Craig, Assistant Dean for Research, CALES
10:10 am - "The Common Ground of ALVSCE Research" by Dr. Jon Chorover, Interim Vice-President for Research, ALVSCE
10:25 am - "An evolutionary approach to understanding long-distance signaling in plants" by Dr. Mark Beilstein, Associate Professor, School of Plant Sciences, CALES
11:00 am - Poster and Exhibit Sessions
12:00 pm - Poster Blasts (3-min presentations from selected posters)
12:30 pm - Closing Ceremony and Awards
1:00 pm - Adjourn
Poster Session Instructions:

Presenters should arrive any time between 9:00 am and 9:45am to register and hang up posters

Push pins will be provided

Bring a helper; our team will be there to answer any questions but do not have enough people to help hang posters for or with presenters

We had a record number of submissions; thus, some poster boards are designated to hold two posters side-by-side. If you are assigned to one of those boards, please make sure that you are positioning your poster next to the correct number and all the way to the edge. This will leave enough space for your board partner to set up their poster

The showcase program begins at 10:00 am and poster presentations will run from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm followed by a closing ceremony
